The PDI Is Moving!

Back in July, I started The PDI with the intention of writing a newsletter on personal development (hence the name “Insider”).  I soon realized that I needed more content on the site itself, so I tried my hand at blogging.  Over the past month, I’ve been casually experimenting with different tactics, software and plugins to grow this domain.  It became clear that blogging would be the life blood of the PDI.

I admit, The Personal Development Insider is a pretty bland name for a blog.  I also think “personal development” is a bit misleading because the articles I write are really about improving life in any fashion.  It’s been nagging at me for a while now, and I’ve decided that it’s better to switch domains now while the website is still small.

That being said, once I find out how to transfer everything, the new domain will be…*drumroll*

I figure if there’s one name I won’t get sick of, it’s my own.  However, The Personal Development Insider will stay as the name of my newsletter.

Upon the completion of the name switch, I will be taking this website much more seriously.  This means I’ll be writing better quality posts, trying harder to get the word out about this site and possibly installing a shiny new WordPress theme that’s better suited for easy navigation.  It’s my goal to turn this into a vast library of life-improvement resources.

  1. May I make a suggestion? Your grey type is hard to read. Perhaps make it darker or move to black? Cheers!

I was actually thinking the same thing, that definitely needs to be changed.
